V Family Sneek Peek

I am a little behind with my sessions from the holiday, so I wanted to post a very special family really quick because the momma has wanted these pictures for a long time! Mrs. V is Owen's teacher and he LOVES her. Thank goodness for Miss K because I would never get Owen off my leg in the morning! Her kids were so good, and her little girl was a little diva! K I am so glad I got to take your pictures, and I hope you like your outdoor pictures that you have always wanted! And thank you for taking such good care of Owen!

Family S Sneak Peek

I got the privilege to take some pictures of a beautiful family the other day. Our little boys go to school together and are bestbuds! It was such a fun session. I asked if they were "kissey" people because some are not, and they said yes, so their little boy was on the shoulders of the daddy, and I told the parents to kiss and "A" the mom said, "she said to kiss not make out" I still laugh about that, and it will probably be one of my most memorable photo sessions, because it reminds me of something Daniel would do!. Anyway, A and R I had a great time taking the pictures and the sneak peek was very hard to choose from. I hope you enjoy them. See you soon!

Goodbye bp

Okay, so no pictures today, just an update on our lives. Daniel said goodbye to his career at BP a few weeks ago. He is onto new and exciting things at Magellan (or however you spell it!). I had mixed emotions about it all, and no, never voiced them to my husband. He was with BP for 7 years, and it is a very scary decision when you are comfortable with things, but I trust his judgement. We are where we are because I have an amazing husband who works really hard and is very talented at what he does, but BP also gave him the opportunity to excel and provided us with a wonderful life which allowed me to stay at home with my children, so it has been a bit sad to say goodbye.
He now works downtown and yes in a cubical because everyone has one there. Which is a bit of a change. I'm still not sure about all of it. I hope it works out! We met lots of wonderful people throughout his career at BP, people we will never forget and are blessed to have met, especially our time in Seattle when we moved a thousand miles away from home, and knew no one. A few of the families took us in as there own kids and I will always keep them close to my heart (you know who you are and are missed and loved!).
I took the boys to his office on his last day of work to say goodbye and "help" him unpack his office. It was kind of sad day for me. Daniel was ready to get the heck out of there (except I know he misses Mr. fist bump!), it was a really weird mixture of emotions because I wasn't leaving my job and I don't see the people everyday, but any how it was sad. It's like starting over and a lot of unknowns, and I soooo don't do good with situations like that. I'm just glad he's away from some of those crazies he traveled out of town with that "made" him stay out until 2am drinking yards of beer and taking shots of tequila (you know who you are too!)! Hopefully the new company has rules on that, so we don't get divorced ;)!
Daniel I hope this is what you are looking for (I know you are still contemplating on what you want to be when you "grow up") For now I hope you will be happy with your new career. I know you made the right decision and, I only wish for you to find happiness and joy in your new adventure. You can succeed anywhere and I think that's what makes me feel "safe" about your choice. I love and good luck! Thank you for all you do for our family, you are a wonderful husband and Daddy! xoxox

K Family Sneak Peek

The M Family Sneak Peak

So last week I had my first photo session with a family of five...with boys...all under the age of six! WOW that's all I can say. I had a blast doing it, but it was a chore getting little A to want to be in a picture. So, needless to say I really had to work at it! We managed to get some pretty good ones under the circumstances. L and N thanks for being patient with me and thanks for asking me to take your pictures. I hope you like them, and I hope to see you in the future at another session!

C Family Pictures

This was my first family session! I had a blast, and it was so much fun. How could it not be when you are taking pictures of your best friend and her beautiful family. We have lived next door to the C Family for the last six years, and in two different neighborhoods. Our kids are best friends, and I am so blessed to be a part of their lives. I have been able to watch these beautiful girls grow! I absolutely love them with all my heart. A little off the subject, but this came up the other day between the kids....the girls won't ever have aunts and uncles because Chad and Jaime are only children. I told the girls that we could be their aunt and uncle if they want us to I think Em Em was a tad confused!
The cutest thing happened today... Daniel came home from work and Em Em was over and ran up and gave him a big hug. I think it made his day, because he came in with a big smile on his face and told us all about it! They are such a beautiful family and I thank God for letting them into our lives. We have been through a lot together and I appreciate your patience and understanding (well at least as much as you can!!!) more than you know, thank you. Chad, Jaime, Em Em and Ave Ave I love you and thanks for letting me take your pics! P.S. Too many pics to post, so these are just a few of my favs!
